I am a Mother/Step-mother of four little boys (four-and-a-half, four, three, and two.) Two of my sons currently attend Head Start and one more will be attending in the fall.
Head Start has brought our family closer. My husband and I fight over who will volunteer for the field trips. He has really gotten envolved and loves to go visit the kids.
Our oldest will be attending kindergarten in the fall, if you could see him now and how much he has grown, mentally, physically, and socially, we thank his teachers and staff for a lot of it. He used to be very shy, quiet, and anti-social.
Our next oldest son just started Head Start this year. He talks better, plays nicer, and learned not to play with his food. I appreciate all Head Start has done and contines to do for my family.
If it was not for Head Start my children would not have gotten the chance to have early education. THANKS HEAD START!
