My First Story: George

by Lauren Williamson

This is George. George is my new friend Michael's cat. I think george is e-normous. He looks like a lion or a tiger. He reminds me of my first cat, Lucy. Lucy was a tabby.

I overheard Michael tell his brother that George's colouring is described as Bengal.  I may be mistaken, but I think Bengal cats might be Egyption. So Perhaps George's descendents belonged to Queen Cleopatra.

And to just think, all the way from Egypt to Williamsburg!...

I liked George right away. He rubbed his face on my bruised knee. My favouritist thing about George's furry anatomy is his extremely curly tail.  It curls up and up and under. And he curls it up a lot.

Maybe he curls it when he feels hungry.

To me, George looked hungry.

His dish was empty.

Michael says George eats too much.

I wanted to draw George as soon as we met. ( <3 )

On second thought, maybe George just curls his extraordinary tail up becuase he his happy to be Michael's cat. ^_^ !

Secret Parrot Courier from Lolo on Vimeo.

**Video Description :I wrote my first story for my friend Michael's Website. It included a little pen and ink drawing of the subject, the e-normous cat named George.

For the special occasion of the first story's unveiling, I arranged a secret parrot courier to beak deliver the drawing to Michael.

No parrots were harmed in the making of this film.

The film shows Wednesday after she helped me draw, as well as the secret couriering of the epistle to Michael's estate.

Wednesday loves to ride on the steering wheel, by the way. Occasionally I turn hard and she flies around the wheel whilst hanging on with her long clawed parrot toes! I think she enjoys the freedom of driving. Perhaps she feels like she is flying.

PS. This film is Dedicated to MK. ^_^... yes it's really silly.(!)**

"What a sweet story. I know George personally, and he is indeed E-NORMOUS! He tries to play one brother off the other for wet food, just like when kids who are denied permission by one parent will ask the other the same question, as if they'll get a different answer and never be found out. The drawing is exceptional. George is one lucky guy to have a friend like you, Lauren."
