I always took bad photos as a kid. Bad haircuts and even worse looking sweaters made it easy for the bad picture fairy. So once I got to college I resolved to never have to deal with that again. Here was the time to begin anew, and to lay the foundations for what would appear in the history books.

[Michael]: One weird thing about John, though, is that I've taken a number of pictures of him that look messianic.  I'm not sure how that happens, but here are a couple to illustrate the point  . . .
