I am writing to show my deepest appreciation to the teachers and staff at Clara E. Jenkins Head Start; my personal thanks go out to Ms. Sims and Ms. Glover. At first I was unsure of my son attending the program because he is a special needs child, he was always at home with me and had never been around a large group of children or adults other than his grandmother and I.
When I met the staff and I told them of his problems, I expressed that they would need to be firm with him and they took it from there. Everyday is more exciting when he gets off the bus and tells me everything he has learned actually thinking he is teaching me. I am very grateful for the program for giving my son the opportunity for an early start and having the staff to deal with his needs. I just wanted to say "Thank you!"
