Bike Rides, Kentucky BBQ's, Lingerie, and Birthday Girls
by Kristin Collins
Today, I opened up a box of pure goodness from someone in NY that I
share love with. From the coconut lime shaving lotion and the
lavender hand soap, to the felt squares and even the wrapping
paper...the gift just made sense. It's a wonderful birthday
surprise full of bits of Joshua, and pieces of me, sloshed together
with memories of conversations passed. It's an interesting thing;
relocating to a different city in another part of the world, where I
spent nearly 9 months debating my place, and still feel disoriented
nearly 14 months later. It's really special to exchange understanding
with someone. Joshua and I are like a giant log of
understanding, even when we don't agree with what we hear. Our
connection is undeniable though miles and hours separate our
lives.
Enjoy the many pictures of me, me, me.

Caroline and Kristin, on our second bike ride together. By together, I mean, we're riding double saddle.

The Kentucky BBQ that I decided to go to on a whim. It was very
far outside of Shanghai. There was BBQ, and there were a lot of
Americans. I arrived with two Columbians and a Canadian who I
never went out with before. We girls took several long looks at
each other, and wondered many times, how the hell we got there.

Another great view of the dancing going on at the Kentucky
BBQ. Later on I went to a spa with the Canadian and two other girls. His name
is Alex and we met once through Charles and Jeff a million years ago. Finally, we
met again through yoga, and then I had the pleasure of joining him for a
night at a spa. " A spa?", you ask? Well Darlings, this spa
is nothing like we wee Americans could imagine. Next time Ill be
sure to document it with photos where I can. There are jacuzzies,
saunas, bare skin, body scrubs, snacks, and recliners. It's open
nearly 24 hours and it's wonderful. It's called Shao Nan Guo.

Linda: " I like your breasts."
Me: " Oh, Thank you" ( Thinking she said, I like your blouse)
Linda: " Looks very natural."
Caroline had the pleasure of helping me get outfitted for a real ladies brassiere, and Linda approves.

Caroline and Josh on May 4th, at New Heights on the Bund. New
Heights has a great view, which you're missing in this photo because
come 11pm, the lights around town turn off for energy
conservation. This day was her birthday, so I suggested, a
lover's photo. How loverly.

My version of a lovers photo. Like Caroline suggested, it wasn't very loverly so we tried again.

Chris is just a friend that I met through Caroline and Josh, but we are
posing as lovers. In this picture, they said that I look like I
am afraid of him. Not very loverly either.

Today, a got a huge package from Josh at my office. It's packed with wonderful smells and sweet lovin.

A tshirt-and sweatbands. I cant wait to yoga in my sweatstraps.

Ooooh look at me, I have a new anklet. I love anklets, and so did
my grandmother. Her's were usually gold and sparkley. Mine
has leather, and skulls.

Oh wow, did u get new magazines? Terrific. Wow, is that your anklet? How anklety.

Me and Lindala...She always accompanies me during my package opening
festivities. She has a new idea about where one might need to
wear a sweat headband. I think she's right.
