Stephen Robert Irwin

News of Steve Irwin's death was the first bit of news I saw after leaving Burning Man.  We stopped to get some non-camp food and CNN was on the TV at the bar where we stopped.

I was so sorry to hear it.  Steve Irwin was such a great guy - so passionate, so full of life.  He was a beautiful example of a life well-lived.  Happy and fun and kind.  It's a shame to lose someone like him, especially when he had such a broad reach around the world.  I'm sure he entertained and brought joy into the homes of people in all countries. 

He was simply good, and I'm sure that many, many people will miss him.
